Abstract

Vernon Haines of Millinocket, a hunter who had refused to pay the entrance fee charged by North Maine Woods, Inc., lost his appeal before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Haines and three other men had entered North Maine holdings without paying in order to provoke a legal confrontation.
