Deering High School's Rumphius Project is allowing a group of 50 juniors a first-hand lesson in making the world a little better. The group is expected to perform 50 hours of supervised community work in such locations as a physical rehabilitation unit, the pediatric wing of a local hospital, and a senior citizens center.
