Abstract
Portland city manager Robert B. Ganley wants the city to sue the state if lawmakers ignore Maine's school-funding formula when calculating next year's subsidies, as they have in recent years. If the formula is used and current funding remains the same, Portland schools stand to receive an extra $5.4 million. Details.
