Abstract

Harvey M. Prager, 46, a convicted drug smuggler who has justed completed his second year at the University of Maine law school has been appointed as a law clerk to the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. While Justice Howard Dana Jr., for whom Prager will work, considers him "brilliant," Portland police chief Michael Chitwood has termed the appointment "an outrage."
