Abstract

Sandi Pasalic, the Yugoslav exchange student who left Deering High School in 1990 to return home, will return to Portland next month on a student visa to attend college. Marylou Manzie, who hosted Pasalic during his stay here, dogged high-ranking U.S. officials for months to get the young man a visa to enter the country.
