Abstract

Growing doubts about the cost of the proposed $18 million Regional Waste Systems recycling center and landfill in Gorham may postpone the final vote on whether to go through with the project. Gary Lorfano, chairman of the RWS board, has said he will ask for a postponement on the vote in order to give the RWS member communities a full 30 days notice that the project's financing might be approved.
