Article about Jay Zeamer and how he earned a Medal of Honor while flying a reconnaissance mission in the Solomon Islands on June 16, 1943. Zeamer, a resident of Boothbay Harbor since 1968, is one of two living Maine residents to have received the medal. The other is Edward C. Dahlgren of Blaine. Details.
