Abstract
The Maine Corrections Department is funding the non-profit group Youth Alternatives to the amount of $133,000, to be used to closely supervise 40 criminal youths who will be released from the Maine Youth Center into the cities of Portland, Lewiston and Waterville. The youths will live with foster families while they further their education and learn job and independent living skills. Details.
