Abstract

The Legislature approved a stopgap measure to fund one more payroll at the state's two mental hospitals. A total of $124,000 was approved without debate or dissent. Meanwhile, the Appropriations Committee tried to find ways to cover the last $8.5 million of a $50 million shortfall in the 1993 state budget.
