Abstract

Phineas Sprague Jr., 44, will today sign an agreement with a consortium of banks that will provide $710,000 to buy the Edaville Railroad collection from its current owner in South Carver, Mass. Sprague, president of the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Company and Museum, wants an excursion train to run along an abandoned rail corridor around the East End.
