Maine Department of Transportation Commissioner Dana F. Connors has put a stop to a plan to close off railroad-crossings and make dead end streets out of Saunders, Lincoln and Coyle Streets in Portland's Woodfords area. Residents had opposed the plan, and will now be asked to suggest alternatives. Details.
