Abstract

Two for-profit methadone maintenance clinics which were to open this spring near the Maine Mall will not open until the fall at the earliest. The acting-director of the state Office of Substance Abuse says the state wants more information before deciding whether to approve methadone for long-term maintenance programs run by the Center for Behavioral Health and Habit Management Inc.
