Abstract

The Town of Scarborough has numerous streets with identical or similar names, which could cause a problem when dispatching fire or emergency personnel to an emergency. Town planner Russell Haigis wants to end the confusion, and is helping to develop ordinance that would give the town the authority to eliminate duplicate street names.
