Abstract

The Legislature's Marine Resources Committee rejected a bill that would have allowed owning blue lobsters as pets. The bill was suggested by Sam Chapman of the University of Maine's Darling Marine Center, who wanted to preserve the rare blue lobsters cultivated by his lab.
