Abstract

Sen. Gerard P. Conley Jr., D-Portland, expects the gay rights bill he is co-sponsoring to pass both the House and the Senate by large margins. This is the ninth time since 1976 that a bill banning discrimination against homosexuals in employment, housing, public accommodations and credit will be considered by Maine lawmakers.
