Abstract

Article about a 3-day conference, Conserving America's Fisheries, that was recently held in New Orleans. At the conference it was repeatedly pointed out that New England's fishing grounds are the most depleted in the nation. No one, however, knows what to do about it. Some experts worry that the stocks might not recover if changes are not made in management practices. Details.
