Abstract
Officials from the non-profit Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. & Museum closed the deal Friday giving them ownership of the historic Edaville Railroad equipment. Plans are now under way to move the equipment from its current home in South Carver, Mass., to Portland, and to work on buying and preparing the railroad bed from Commercial Street to the Eastern Promenade, which will hopefully be the first segment of a line that will eventually circle the peninsula.
