Abstract

The Finance Authority of Maine and Fleet Bank have announced the creation of the Jobs Generator Program, which will offer $2.5 million in loans to qualified Maine businesses over the next year at half the current rate of interest. To be eligible for the program, a business must create at least one job for every $20,000 it borrows.
