Abstract

Possible locations for Portland's train station have been narrowed down to two sites: Union Station Plaza and the former Maine Central Railroad building, both on St. John Street. Officials indicate that whatever site is selected the choice will be temporary. They want to determine what the ridership levels will be before making a final choice.
