Abstract

A legislative representative for the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine has dubbed a bill which the Legislature will consider later this session as very anti-hunting in nature. The measure, "An Act to Ensure Safe Hunting," was promoted by the Non-Hunters Rights Alliance, and would bring reverse land posting to Maine by prohibiting hunting on any land without written permission from the owner.
