Abstract

Portland has received in excess of 100 inches of snow during the 1992-93 season, with 49 inches falling in March alone. This could also be the second-coldest March on record, with an average temeprature of 26.4 degrees Fahrenheit, and it follows the second-coldest February, with an average temperature of 15.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
