Abstract

Deborah Wofenden, convicted of assault in the Janury 1990 death of her 4-year-old foster son Rickery LeTourneau, has begun serving her one-year sentence while the case is being appealed. The appeal is scheduled to be heard by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court in May.
