Abstract

The muralist Wyland is ready to begin painting his latest Whaling Wall, this one on a 950-foot-long metal wall at the Maine State Pier. A van full of his equipment arrived in Portland over the weekend, and the mural is expected to be completed in time to be dedicated during the Old Port Festival on Sunday. Related article.
