Abstract

Mike Ploszek, the University of Maine Athletic director, yesterday announced that Shawn Walsh, the hockey coach, has agreed to a two year extension of his contract, guaranteeing that he will remain at Orono at least through 1997. Walsh's total compensation will be about $90,000 a year.
