Abstract

Theresa Bachelder, a candidate for councilor in Portland's District 4, has filed suit against the city, charging administrators with interfering with the electoral process. Bachelder's husband Frank is a city firefighter, and city attorney Gary Wood had indicated that there might be a conflict of interest if Theresa Bachelder were elected.
