Abstract

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection, responding to alarming levels of mercury found in bald eagles and fish in Maine, will sample fish in 120 lakes throughout the state over the next two years. Initials results of limited testing indicate that Maine has higher levels of mercury accumulating in its wildlife than other states. Details.
