Abstract

The American Lung Association of Maine wants to develop a long-term, statewide storehouse of information that would help researchers figure out why Maine has one of the highest rates of lung disease in the nation. Patterned after the 45-year-old Framingham Heart Study in Massachusetts, the project would be the first of its kind in the nation.
