Abstract

Cumberland County District Attorney Stephanie Anderson is seeking to have former University of Southern Maine student Jon Steen held without bail pending a new trial on charges he raped an Auburn woman at a fraternity party in Gorham on April 1991. Steen, of Westborough, Mass., had his first conviction overturned by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
