Abstract

Roger Parlin, chief negotiator for the Maine State Employees Association, and McKernan administration negotiator Kenneth Waldo have enlisted the aid of a mediator in the on-going contract talks for the state's 10,000 employees. Administration demands to cut wages and benefits remains the central sticking point between the two sides.
