Abstract

Feature about an April Fools' prank played upon the residents of Weymouth and Portland, England, by the editor of their local newspaper, assisted by a number of Mainers who pretended to be interested in purchasing and removing to Portland, Maine, three much-prized local treasurers. Attorney Barry Fernald of Portland, Maine, was the leading Maine prankster.
