Abstract

Fred Sanborn, 37, of Waldoboro, who has been handicapped since a construction accident a decade ago, says that Portland police Sgt. James Woodbury assaulted him in a Portland parking garage the night of March 8 after Woodbury accused him of illegally parking in a handicapped parking space. The Portland Police Department's internal affairs unit has investigated the incident and forwarded its report to the state attorney general's office. Details.
