Abstract

The Farmers Home Administration, which distributed nearly $50 million in loans and loan guarantees in Maine during the fiscal year which ended October 1, has only allocated $18.8 million so far this year through its Maine office. The lack of funding has left nearly 1,400 Maine families in the lurch as they wait for FHA mortgages. Details.
