Abstract

Portland native Reginald Bartholomew will be nominated to be U.S. ambassador to Italy, according to President Clinton. Bartholomew, a 1954 graduate of Portland High School, recently served as U.S. special envoy to the former Yugoslavia and U.S. representative to NATO.
