Abstract

Justin Konrad, a Presidential Scholar and a recent Deering High School graduate who lost his lower left leg in a June 5 automobile accident, had his spirits lifted Saturday when President Bill Cinton called him at Mercy Hospital. Clinton was in Portland to address a public rally and two fund-raising events for Sen. George Mitchell.
