Abstract

Portland city councilors and the Maine Department of Transportation have agreed to share the costs of developing a walking and bicycle trail that would run along an abandoned railway from the Casco Bay terminal to Back Cove. The Casco Bay Greenway is the brainchild of Portland Trails, a group working to develop a network of trails linking parks and open spaces in the city.
