Abstract

St. Johnsbury Trucking Inc., which filed for bankruptcy earlier this month, may not have enough money in its self-insurance fund to cover all of its outstanding workers' compensation claims. If a deficit develops as expected, outstanding claims will be paid by the Maine Self-Insurance Guarantee Fund. St. Johnsbury employed 200 workers in Maine before declaring bankruptcy.
