Abstract

Nancy Connery of Woolwich, a former transportation planner with the U.S. Department of Transportation, is predicting that few Mainers will use the rail link to Boston, and says the train cannot be successful. She also claims that ridership projections have been exaggerated, a contention disputed by a recent report commissioned by the Maine Department of Transportation.
