Abstract

William Seretta, former chief executive of Harper/Connecting Point Computer Center in Portland, has bought several divisions of that company. As a result of the change in ownership, the 14-year-old Harper/Connecting Point will close, and a new company, called Connecting Point, will focus on services rather than hardware, although computers will still be sold.
