Abstract

Arnie Paul, head of the Metal Trades Council at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, claims he was removed as vice president of the Seacoast Shipyard Association because he is head of the yard's largest union. The association's executive committee consists of six representatives from the shipyard and six representatives from the community, and Paul's removal leaves it without a labor representative.
