The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Friday approved the use of Betaseron, the first drug ever found effective against multiple sclerosis. Mainers such as Denise Maurais and Mallory Eichelberger, both of whom suffer from MS, hope to be some of the first to try the new drug. Details.
