Abstract

Local 567 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers has been promoting a boycott of L.L. Bean Inc. since last December when it became dissatisfied with the bid-selection process used to award a $1 million electrical work contract to a non-union company. The union alleges that Cianbro, which was awarded the bid, had an unfair advantage because it serves as the project's overall construction manager. Details.
