Abstract

Labor and management representatives of the Workers Compensation Board are in disagreement over the authority of members of the former Workers' Compensation Commission, who are serving as temporary hearing officers during the transition to the new workers' compensation system. The board's failure to agree on authority matters has left no one to hear the cases of workers who were injured in 1992 but did not file claims until 1993. Details.
