Abstract
Michael Roy, 38, of Lewiston, who was shot by police when they responded to a call at his home in August 1991, has filed a lawsuit in Androscoggin County Superior Court alleging excessive force was used against him. Lewiston police say that Roy was shot after the officers responding to the call were faced with deadly force.
