Abstract

Portland Sand and Gravel Inc., which owns and operates a gravel pit in Gray, is suing the town for adopting a zoning change August 3 which prohibits the company from expanding the pit. The company says the new ordinance, which prohibits gravel pits from expanding in an aquifer protection zone, will cost them more than $4.9 million in profits. Details.
