Abstract

A spokesman for New Hampshire Gov. Steve Merrill says that Merrill will likely endorse passenger rail service from Boston to Portland, which could allow federal transportation money earmarked for New Hampshire to be spent on the project. Three transportation advisory groups in New Hampshire recently endorsed the rail link, while the state transportation commissioner opposes it. Details.
