Abstract

Susan M. Hersom, 32, is the Westbrook school systems first full-time substance abuse counselor. A recent survey showed that 71 percent of last year's graduating class used alcohol during the previous year, and 30.9 percent had used marijuana. One out of every three students said they regularly used tobacco. Lists drug-survey results.
