Abstract

Developer Harry Jenkins hopes to win Falmouth Planning Board approval to bring lower-priced housing to the town. Jenkins hopes to get approval to build 26 homes on 10 acres by agreeing to set aside 25 additional acres as open space for the public and to screen the development from the road and from neighbors. Conventional zoning with standard size lots would permit the construction of only 19 houses on the 35-acre parcel. He expects his houses to sell for between $110,000 and $130,000.
