Abstract

The Brunswick Intown Group has made the semifinals in a competition sponsored by the Washington, D.C.-based National Main Street Center. It is one of thirty semifinalists selected from a total of 170 applicants. The group hopes to learn next week whether it will be one of the five contest winners. If so, members of the staff of the National Main Street Center will visit Brunswick, meet with community leaders, tour downtown business, assess the market, and explore downtown revitalization programs.
