Abstract

A Kennebunk ordinance says that farm stands in the town must limit their sale of out-of-state produce or goods to no more than 10 percent of their total sales. Residents will vote in November on whether to increase that amount to 25 percent, a move which state Department of Agriculture Commissioner Bernard Shaw says could take business away from stores needing state licenses to sell such goods.
