Abstract

Officials with the Maine Bureau of Parks and Recreation have declared the Cargill Lot in Standish unsuitable for a proposed boat launch, forcing Standish town officials to postpone a November 2 referendum on an agreement between the town and the Portland Water District. The town will continue to negotitate with both the state and the Portland Water District on the matter. Details.
